Welcome to a concert by children’s music duo Mirkka & Luis! Come along for fun, games, movement and singing together.
The concert also explores answers to some tricky questions. For example, do you know which sauce you can season music with: A) ketchup, B) minced meat sauce or C) salsa? You’ll also learn all kinds of other fun things, like how to do yoga and speak sign language!
The children’s music group Mirkka & Luis is passionate about getting audiences singing, laughing and moving both their minds and bodies. The award-winning group has been praised for its high-quality music, insightful, topical and thought-provoking lyrics, and captivating stage presence that charms children and adults alike.
The concert is one of the Syys-Vekara events.

Show & Dinner – The highlight of the Christmas party season

On Friday 27 November from 6 pm, the Warkaus Hall foyer will fill with a festive atmosphere as a spectacular Show & Dinner evening awaits!
We’ll start the event by giving your abs a workout as impressionist Antti Karjalainen arrives from Kuopio to entertain the party with familiar celebrities—sometimes speaking, sometimes singing, and even performing stand-up in his own voice. In short, impersonations for his own amusement and everyone else’s dismay—or, well, you never know what will come out of a Savonian’s mouth! Come along, laugh with us and enjoy the evening.
Enjoy a delicious buffet, dance and spend an unforgettable evening in good company. The evening’s lively music will be provided by Highway Five Heros!

Jokeri Pokeri Box – Life Is Magic!

Two generations have already followed magician Simo Aalto’s long and successful career, and the show just keeps getting better! On his anniversary tour, Simo and his assistant and wife Kirsti present first-class, cheerful and astonishing magic, tailored for the whole family and audiences of all ages. The show combines classic magic, visual effects and audience participation to create a wonderful experience. Decades of performing in Finland and abroad shine through in the magician’s stage presence, and his interaction with the audience is tangible. Of course, his lovely animal friends are part of the show! The children will help with the tricks, and this time adults will also be invited to assist the magician. Rhubarb Sky – An Evening with Gösta and Leavings

Gösta Sundqvist is a true giant of Finnish rock, whose legacy has left a lasting mark on the Finnish soul. Rhubarb Sky is an in-depth look at Gösta’s life and music.
In the show, Gösta talks about his life, youth, football, how his songs came about and the state of the world—all told with Gösta’s trademark humour. Throughout the evening, he meets many of his friends, and the amusing characters from his songs come to life too.
The show features all of Leevi and the Leavings’ biggest hits, so it’s packed with great songs and hilarious humour.
Starring incredible singer and Voice of Finland finalist AJ Keskinen. Also featuring familiar TV faces Petri Lairikko, Simo Stenman and Elisa Lairikko.

Konsta’s Christmas 2026

Celebrate Oscar’s 40th anniversary with us
Hotel Oscar was completed 40 years ago, on 29 August 1986. The new hotel had 48 rooms and three restaurants: Pizzeria, Steak/House, Oscar`Pub and the Hollywood nightclub. The spa facilities were located in the basement, with saunas featuring hot tubs and private dining rooms on the fourth floor. Oscar also had a log-built summer restaurant, Savulahti, and a smoke sauna on Pitkäsaari, as well as its own boat, M/S Sinikko.
Today, Hotel Oscar has 165 hotel rooms, two restaurants, Oscar´s Bar & Dinner and Oscar´s House, and of course the legendary nightclub Oscar´s Night, which also serves as a relaxed venue for private events.
